Valentines Day Approaches
Following on from the introductory post Valentines Cards, we are still languishing in the throws of Christmas and the rapidly approaching start to 2009, but it may not have hit you just yet that Valentines Day is just around the corner!
That’s right! Valentines Day is actually a mere 6 weeks away and while that may seem like a long time when you haven’t even sang Auld Lang Syne yet, in terms of getting yourself prepared for the exciting and romantic day, it’s something that you should start thinking about at the very least.
Why? Well, for starters, if you want to take that special person out for a romantic meal on the evening of the 14th of February, you had better start making a short list of those you want to be eating at and then phoning to make reservations, because some of the best ones will get taken very quickly and you don’t want to be disappointed, now do you?
Then there’s the buying of that special Valentines Day gift. If it has to be just so, then now is the time to start planning exactly what it is you want to buy and where you’re likely to get it (and how much it will cost). You can start browsing online already and even place an order to be sure you have the gift safely in your own possession well before the day, so you won’t be stressed out rushing around at the last minute to find the perfect gift!

And lastly, there is of course the person! For most of us, that’s not a problem as we already know who we’re going to spoil this Valentines Day! But there’s also plenty of people who haven’t quite made up their minds yet… a word of advice: don’t take too long on that one or you might lose out to someone more, well forthright and quicker off the mark!
“He who hesitates is lost” is a saying well worth bearing in mind when you are looking to choose a Valentines Day partner, so if you know who you want, go for it!
